Villa Stella

Review – Villa Stella, Zadar (May 2026) As a wheelchair user, you often come across accommodations that claim to be “accessible” but are not truly practical in everyday life. Villa Stella in Zadar was finally different. The apartment is extremely well equipped and fully wheelchair accessible. You immediately notice that accessibility here was genuinely thought through and not treated as an afterthought. The rooms are spacious, there is plenty of room to move around, and everything can be used comfortably without constant improvisation or outside assistance. The bathroom especially deserves praise: enough space, easy access, and designed in a way that allows wheelchair users to use it independently and comfortably. This is what real accessibility should look like. The entire apartment was clean, modern, and very practical. You do not feel like “a guest with limitations” — you simply feel welcome. A special compliment also goes to the hosts. They were incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating. At all times, I felt respected and taken seriously. That kind of hospitality is just as important as the accommodation itself. For me, Villa Stella was one of the best experiences I have had so far as a wheelchair user staying in a holiday apartment. Anyone looking for a truly wheelchair-accessible place in Zadar should definitely consider staying here. Highly recommended!

Apartmaji so praktično novi, popolnoma prilagojeni ljudem na invalidskih vozičkih. V stavbi je dvigalo, v stanovanju nobenih pragov, vsa vrata so široka, kopalnica je velika, z dostopno wc školjko in tušem, ki nima nobenega pragu. Kopalnica je opremljena s invalidskim stolom, ki se ga lahko nastavi po višini, ter prestavi po potrebi. V neposredni bližini je za najbolj nujne potrebe manjša živilska trgovina Studenac, ter nekaj lokalov na ulici, ki se spušča proti morju. Sicer pa je v Zadru množica trgovskih centrov za vsak okus. Z avtom je hiter dostop do centra/starega dela Zadra, kjer je dovolj parkirišč. Priporočamo ogled starega mestnega jedra z množico kulturnih in arheoloških zanimivosti. Lokacija je odlična baza za enodnevne izlete, npr. Ugljan in Pašman iz zadrske trajektne luke, obisk mesta Nin, Zaton, tudi Pag. Proti jugu pa Biograd, Vodice, Šibenik, Split...

Appartement correcte, parking privée et bien placée.

Un lave linge serait le bienvenu et compléter les couverts il y avait qu’une seule petite cuillère…
