Location was OK. If I come back, I would stay in the area near St. Stephen's Basilica. That area seemed a little more upscale. We did not enjoy walking up Vaci St every time we wanted to go somewhere due to all the people hawking massages, etc. The shops in this area were all chain stores and souvenir shops. The owner did respond quickly to our concerns, however we never met him. There is a coded entry system, so seems secure enough.

The apartment building itself was in need of maintenance. One elevator was broken and the building seemed neglected. The apartment is also in need of a deep clean and basic maintenance. The owner did respond quickly to all of my concerns, however I wonder if he ever really goes to the apartment. There is a washer, but no clothes rack to dry clothes (we used the ironing board). The shower grout was moldy. Please check the listing for an apartment called "dfive" as this is the name on the door of the apartment. There are better apartments out there, but you get what you pay for.

In the centre of Váci utca the fashion street so it was very easy to go from here to other places. The apartment itself is spacious and Lorenzo the owner was available for every question we had.

We had a problem with figuring out how to work the shower, would probably change that.

It is so central and close to the main shops. 7- 10 min walk to chain bridge 5-7 min walk to get the number 2 tram. Great instructions from Lorenzo to get into the apartment and was quick to reply when we contacted him. Good size room with plenty of hanging and drawer space. Has double glazing so very quiet. Out of the apartments turn right there is a McDonald's on the corner, we didn't use so cannot recommend, also close to a shop to get milk etc. If you like extra hot milky coffee like we do, there is no microwave, we used the stove top to heat up in the saucepan. Water pressure was good for the shower, the washing machine worked well, small rails in bathroom to hang clothes. We definitely would recommend staying here.
