Charming Maraska

Nicely taken care! Comfortable and everything we needed! Easy to check-in! 10min walking to old city town! Great experience even though we just stayed 1 night!

Could have stayed longer :-(

- Very specious, totally renovated and modern. We are 2 friends each one got his own separate room here plus a nice living room and a balcony. All the amenities are totally new. - The owner was very easy to communicate with, she gave us very good recommendations. - Very easy to find a free parking space. - it's above some cute bars and cafe's that serve food so if you don't want to go to the old town you can eat under your apartment. Nice!

- 2.5 floors (50 stairs) with no elevator. We didn't mind that since we travel with carry-on only, but if we had big suitcases I would be furious. For this price point (the most expensive apartment we rented during our long trip in Croatia) I think there should be an elevator, or - it should be mentioned clearly on the description on Booking. Zadar is usually a place you stay after you've been to Plitvice, I can't imagine climbing to this apartment with a big suitcase after a visit in Plitvice. - It's 25 minutes walk from Old Town. We had to use Bolt (6.5 Euros each way, not too bad) in order to eat in the good restaurants, and to take the tour, see the sights etc. no point of taking the car. - Bottom line - Loved the place, but would prefer it to be closer to the city and with an elevator. - If you are a big person, like really big - don't rent this place. Getting into the shower can be a bit of a challenge. No problem for medium to XXL sizes, more than that - I would contact the owner to measure it first. I'm dead serious.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Charming Maraska. The host and the accommodation were lovely. The apartment was immaculate and comfortable. The location was perfect. Less than a five minute walk to the pier where we could catch a boat (nominal fee) to the old town of Zadar. The host has provided a fan in the master bedroom to assist with cooling it down as the a/c is located in the living room. This was very much appreciated. We were very comfortable despite the 33+ weather outside. The apartment is bright and cheerful. It had everything we needed. It even has a washing machine.

The parking is doable but you may have to drive around a bit. We didn’t get close to the main doors until our second attempt. Do not let this deter you as a parking space will free up.
