"I recommend for a short stay in Budapest."

It was a wonderful experience in Budapest. The apartment is large and well equipped, 5 minutes from the starting station of metro line 2. The building is in a quiet neighborhood full of greenery, and close to the Arkad and Ikea shopping center. Dominic is a very friendly host.

"Large Retro Apartment in Zuglo Budapest"

Safe location, good sized very clean apartment comfortable beds and good WIFI. Usable well stocked kitchen with huge refrigarator. Large modern bathroom with walk-in shower and good water pressure. 15 min walking to a huge HUB with undergraund (Metro) , bus and tram stations and a great shopping mall. Small grocery store next corner. I lived in this neighbornood as a teen from 1959-64 so it was a trip on memory lane for me.

Very difficult check-in process because the Hungarian govermen's new regulations. Not the owner's fault. Please save a photo copy of your passport on your phone because you will need it to get the access code. The aircondition unit was very moody and no good use of it in 39C (97 F) heat. The owner tried his best but only with mixed results. I got a promisse they will fix it soon and I beleive they will based on my good communication with the helpful owner, Dominic. The kitchen needs a modern toaster. The retro hot sendwich maker from 1960 did not do the job but was very romantic. Not enough electric otlets and not easy access to them.

Far from the centre. There are not many kitchen utensils and no washing machine.
