Little Whistle in the heart of Jewish district with AC

Very comfortable apartment with lots of space. The host is very accessible and helped a lot. Great location with lovely bars and restaurants near by.

Quirky apartment that was a good size for me as a solo traveller. Location is ideal as very central but as facing an inner courtyard is quiet at night despite the number of bars and restaurants within a short walk. Appreciated the free beers and water left in the fridge and local recommendations. Felt secure once inside. Wi-fi worked very well, and other advertised facilities were available, including hairdryer and umbrella.

While perfect size for just me, would be extremely cosy for a group of 4, or even with 2/3, especially with no real space/nightstands by the side of the main bed. Building looks a little intimidating from outside and I felt like I was solving an escape room to get in (I found the wrong key first - no idea what that one is for!). Aircon situated in the kitchen only is far from ideal, and you have to sleep with doors open to feel any benefit from it (which again would make multiple occupancy difficult). I was also shocked to have instructions not to set the temperature below 22 degrees and turn off when going out - never known a place promote having A/C and then attempt to police it in this way! Must admit I didn't always adhere to these as I wouldn't have been able to sleep with the heat, but felt guilty about it. I found this property when filtering to those with a balcony, but there is none. It's at balcony level above an interior courtyard, but this isn't private, there's no seating outside and if you were to stand/sit there you'd be blocking the walkway for others. Should not be listed as having a balcony! I also find it bizarre that the host is listed as "James", when it's actually someone called Bali, who is certainly not Canadian! What happened to James, and why not promote having a local host? Doesn't really matter, but struck me as odd. Lack of female toiletries - shampoo and shower gel are both for men, and when I tried what I thought might be women's shampoo it turned out to be conditioner (no English on the bottle). Toilet flush is indeed extremely loud, and apparently sensitive, though in fairness it worked fine for me. No info provided about bike rental that was advertised. Although I appreciate it not being guaranteed, I had hoped to be able to leave one suitcase after check-out and collect ahead of the next check-in (i.e.
