Manhattan Studio

Even though the studio is small, it was incredibly comfortable and relaxing. I even woke up to birds singing, which was lovely and which made the stay feel peaceful. Michael was great, very approachable, very accessible, easy to communicate with, and always helpful. The location is about 30 minutes’ walk to the city centre, and there’s a bus stop nearby. Just note that using public transport isn’t the easiest if you don’t have the local app, as you can’t pay with a bank card directly. Overall, I had a lovely experience and would highly recommend this place for a peaceful and cozy stay in Budapest! A peaceful and pleasant spot in the city!

The location is fantastic, with tram passing every a few minutes all day. The room was clean. Spacious shower.

Really bad check-in : a. You have to check-in through an app, and upload your ID on the app! This really made me uncomfortable. b. The instructions to get in the apartment are not the best. The locker to pick the key is not easily identified (there are like 10 lockers). The heating of the apartment also controls the heating of the neighboring apartment. So, if the neighbours complain, you will receive messages from the owner to lower/increasing the heating. There is no option for pillow thickness, only one. Also there is no extra blankets. For the price of the room, this is really weird. The description of the room says there is shower and body soap etc., but the bottles were almost over.

The Manhattan Studio is a great place to stay for a longer period, especially if one wants to spend this time actively traveling across the city. The studio is rather small but really well equipped, in a relatively calm part of the city center and not far from key railway and metro/tram stations. The especially well-equipped kitchen is worth a note, given quite high food prices in restaurants around, plus a working air-conditioning (we travelled during the +35 heatwave).

Perhaps the only drawback was the windows view, although it did not bother us that much.
