We spent our holiday in Hajdúszoboszló last month, and we were genuinely impressed with the house. The location is wonderfully quiet, which made it easy to relax, and the garden was one of our favourite parts — spacious, peaceful, and perfect for cooking together at the fireplace. We also loved the terrace where we could sit and eat as a group. The house itself is huge — we actually got lost inside on the first day, which made us laugh. It’s very well suited for large families; we were 9 adults and 1 child, and we still had plenty of space. The gaming room on the bottom floor and the toys for kids were a big plus and made the stay even more comfortable. The rooms were clean and pleasant, and overall the whole place felt welcoming. One small personal note: the white bedding looks nice, but for guests who dye their hair (like me with magenta), it can be a bit stressful to keep it perfectly white. Not a big issue, just something to consider. The location is excellent — the thermal bath, restaurants, and shops are all within a 10‑minute walk, which made everything very convenient. Overall, the house is brilliant for a family vacation, and we would definitely come back. With just a few small improvements, it could easily become a perfect holiday spot.

The main area where we felt improvements would make a big difference is the kitchen. While there were plenty of glasses and cutlery, several essential tools were missing. A garlic press, tongs, a whisk, and a better knife set (especially for cutting bread or preparing meat) would have been very helpful — we even ended up buying some of these items ourselves. Since the house is perfect for cooking together, having a more complete kitchen setup would really enhance the experience. We also missed having places to hang things in the bedrooms. Some rooms had options, but not all, and even simple hangers or hooks would make a big difference, especially for a larger group like ours. The bathrooms with bathtubs could use more attention during cleaning. On the top floor, the tubs had visible yellowish limescale and dirt marks where the water runs down, so we cleaned them ourselves before using them. It wasn’t a major issue, but it did take away from the first impression. Adding hangers or hooks in the bathrooms would also be very helpful, as we had nowhere to hang our towels. The floors could also be cleaned a bit more thoroughly.
