Apartment was clean, just right in the center of Pest, amazing location

The location was perfect. Central, close to the main attractions. Most of the cutlery is available. There is a washing machine, which was a big plus. Bed was comfortable. Room temperature was fine for the time of the year (it was cold outside, but we had central heating).

There was a smell in the bathroom. This is something that affect many old building apartments in Budapest. It is bearable, but just leaves an unpleasant experience. I also didn't like that the room was sharing a joint entrance corridor with another apartment, but we didn't feel the presence of other guests as everything else is separated (it just seemed odd to have this).

Location is the best, everything is so close, you practically don’t have to use the public transportation at all. The apartment is very nicely designed. The building was quite interesting for us too.

there was no balcony/patio, even though both were indicated in description of the apartment. we specifically have chosen this place because of the balcony, and started directing some questions to the host, but she simply did not answer on any. DO NOT RECOMMEND

The appartament is like shown in the pictures, but the building is really old and not so well kept. In the apartment there are mold stains, and the entrance smells like mold. During our stay, one day it rained a lot and when we came home there was water and dirt all over the kitchen's floor and counters. We called the manager and we were told, not so kindly, that it was normal because the building is old and when it rains the water comes up the pipes. When asked if somebody would come to clean, we were told we had to clean everything ourselves. The cleaning supplies were inadequate, just a mop, a broom, a cloth and an all purpose degreasing detergent, nothing to sanitize the floor and the counters. Not being able to properly clean the kitchen we could not use it and had to eat out every day.
