4BR , 3BHR with AC at the OPERA

- the location: just excellent! Very close to Opera house, just 3 minutes walk away from metro and bus stations and of course very close to mini markets, bistros and restaurants. - the host: very direct in answers, before we arrive and during our stay. Polite through messages and willing to prepare our accommodation on our family before we arrive. - the apartment: huge enough for 6 people with pleasant decoration. 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms made really comfortable our stay!

- the cleanliness: the most important fiasco we had! Apart from the dirty toilets (the 2 out of 3), we also had beds with dirty linen and only 1 towel for each one. All of the above were stinky, full of yellow and black stains and hairs. They smelled awful and they seemed really used! When we contacted the host, she didn't even typically apologize and she urged us to open a locked closet to take clean ones. The surprise was even worse: there were mixed clean and dirty unfolded sheets in between with used tissues and an electronic cigarette. When we informed again the host and we asked for a cleaner to change the linen and clean the house, she told us that we had to sleep on these the first night and the cleaner would come the next day. It took us 3 days to clean and dry on ourselves the linen and the towels for 6 people, as was our total accommodation! The first night was a real nightmare!!! We lost part of our holidays to stay at the apartment cleaning! After all these, missing toilet paper and having dirty glasses, plates and really old destroyed pans and pots was just a detail! It is so pitty having such a huge, nice apartment at the center of Budapest and being so uninterested for it!!! (A mild gentle review from a host)

The cleanliness, but i did not like the bedding. the place is very quiet the greatest plus is the bakery downstairs, it's an artisan baker. There is also a Spar shop very good. great Bolt app for going around in taxi quite worth it money wise. there is a good iron and board.

the fact that the communication with the host, i admit i panic a lot like i forgot how to open the main door, also one bed was not made up and i could not access the linen cup board like it had the shroud of Turin in it . that pissed me off.

great location and loads of space. a lovely light and airy apartment with beautiful original features. it’s great that there are 3 bathrooms too. we stayed as a group of 3 girls and felt very safe and secure in the apartment. really great location for exploring Budapest as there are lots of sights nearby and most are easily walkable. lots of nice cafes and bars on the street.

due to it being in the heart of the city it can be a little noisy on an evening but it wouldn’t stop me staying again.
