Peace Place

The Location is perfect and Zoli is an excellent host! The apartment is as described and had everything you need.

The only thing I can think of is that the showerhead sprays a lot when you shower.

We liked the location. The peace place is located in the city center and very close to public transport and markets

There was a construction work in the building but Zoli was a great host and tried to solve all the problems for us.

The apartment is in a great location to explore Budapest and you are close to many bars and restaurants (turn left out of the main gate). There is a small terrace which is nice for a drink in the evening or breakfast. The kitchen is ok and has all you need to make snacks and drinks and you have all the kit, fridge, washing machine, microwave etc. Bathroom is ok but beware, the spray goes everywhere so dont put stuff on the shelf. All we needed was somewhere to dump our stuff and sleep and it was what was needed. Generally very quiet location. The owner was in contact asking if all was ok and was obliging when we needed an iron and ironing board. For the price, you can't go wrong. If you were paying a €1k for a week, maybe not but for a budget its ok.

The flat is quite dark, due to it's setting within the courtyard it doesnt get much daylight. Its also quite hot and stuffy with no A/c, we had tonhave fans on 24/7. Also at night it needs a curtain to completely cover the window as there is a light on in courtyard entrance which is annoying at night. Beware bins being emptied at 6am, we had it on three days. Not the fault of the owners. Also be aware the bed is literally a mattress on the floor, not overly comfortable and there is a computer desk which makes the space cramped.

Zoli was super nice, we were arriving before the check in time and he made the apartment ready for us at our arrival. Very nice communication with him too, and he's available for whatever you need. The apartment has everything you need during your stay and it is spacious for two people. Also the apartment is close to the center, around 30 min walk to the parliament, well communicated with public transport too. Recommend 100%

10-15 minute walk to the bustling nightlife of the jewish quarter

Would have liked some form of coffee maker rather than just instant coffee. Would have been happy to buy fresh coffee but there was nothing to use it with

Well located little place in a nice neighbourhood. The flat is quaint and authentic. The host was very friendly and helpful
