Bright Studio with Parliament view, Free Public Parking nearby

The location was nice. The instructions were clear. Having plenty of channels on TV.

- despite the advertisement boasting views of the Parliament, this did not exist. - the room was not as large as in the pictures, so that was deceiving. - there were no clean towels available. The only ones available stank of cigarette smoke. - there was no shampoo or conditioner despite the owner stating he would supply some - the stove did not work - the room was too hot with no way of switching off the radiator - we slept with windows open because the room was a sauna, but the noise from the traffic was unbelievably loud. - overall did not enjoy my stay, and won't be coming back.

Location-wise, it’s very close to the Danube river and the view of the Parliament. Also, close to shops, restaurants, and bus and tram stop. Shower gel, shampoo, and handwash soap were available. Staff was very responsive. Detailed instruction for check-in was provided prior to the arrival. All appliances in the apartment worked properly.

You will have to stick your head out to get the Parliament view from the window. No elevator working, contrary to what had been informed in the facilities section of the property. So you will have to climb up 3 flights of stairs with your luggage to the door. No luggage storage in the property, but provided in partnership with other party. No dishwasher as well.

Very new inside. Had everything we needed.

Lack of restaurants in our area.

Nothing.

Room wasn’t clean properly. Room was smelly. We had to buy room freshener to clear the smell. All the dishes and glasses also wasn’t cleaned properly. Room’s floor wasn’t cleaned either. Not sure why the room was so costly. It’s an old damaged building.

Good communcation with host, place was in a great location

The instructions for entry were good.

First of all the team were very good, no issues with them. However, the little things matter, and this apartment needs some TLC and fast. To be able to use the hanging space, I needed to move the ironing board out and into the other side of the hanging space. Not the end of the world, but not the start I wanted to have to reorganise the only available hanging storage. The coffee capsules are not for this type of coffee machine, I needed to play around with them, which was frustrating and time wasting, as well as cheap of the host. No idea why there was a picture frame clumsily stuffed with random folded old newspapers was in there? It really cheapens the feel of the apartment. Lots of dirt and marks on the wall, not a deal breaker but also doesn't add to the feel of the place. The chair is really dirty, clearly has not been cleaned in some time. Something was hanging off the wall in the bathroom. I'm not sure what it was for, but it wouldn't take a huge effort to address this prior to hiring it out? Another picture frame sat on the floor, why? I couldn't get the TV to work, not a big deal, but if it is there, it should be ready to use. The information advising on the price of an airport transfer is incorrect, they have increased the price. If information is there, it needs to be accurate, surely? The cupboard was falling to pieces inside, meaning it couldn't be used. All of these little details add up to make the apartment feel cheap and rundown. The location is great, but the feel of the apartment detracted from the overall experience.
