Chain Bridge City Center Dorothea

The property is at a very convenient location, chain bridge is literally 5 minutes by walk, supermarket is right next to the apartment.

The location of the property is very convinient a few steps from the Chain Bridge and many of the landmarks in Budapest.

The building is a little old but the apartment is well maintained. The main door only locks with the key.

The location is very good. Was easy to check in. There is a coffee machine if you have capsules.

The windows open into a common shaft for clean air, which gets very little natural light and makes you hear everything the neighbours are doing. The towels were grey from use and in general no necessary items to keep the kitchen clean: too little detergent, no drying place for the plates etc. In general, the apartment is old and it shows.

Location is fantastic. You are out of the building and in 100m you are in the middle of the action - full center display -same street as Madame Tussauds museum, just behind the famous Gerbeaud cafe. 100m in the opposite direction and you are at the bus station, bus that takes you free of charge to the Buda Castle (as Chain Bridge is under work and pedestrian access is forbidden) . All tourist attractions are nearby. We did not have to buy a single transport ticket in 4 days. Though in the center, appartment is not noisy. Though there were minuses as well, all in all this is a great value for money and a fantastic location for visiting Budapest. We were 2 adults and 2 children.

Cleanliness should be revised. I saw lots of comments before booking the appartment. I had assumed issues were fixed - I mean once you get a review you should improve - that is what reviews are for. But we found same conditions dirty floors, appartment door not closing unless you lock it with the key, shower draining got clogged at first usage showering the little one - water started flowing toward the rest of the bathroom. Floors are so dirty we had to buy slippers so that we did not have to walk in our shoes in the bedrooms. As we walked from kitchen to bedroom and back , our socks were simply incredibly dirty. For the drain clogged - it was fixed in the morning by the owner as I sent video - so a plus for that (or was fixed that quickly as the money were not paid yet and I stated we cannot continue in such conditions for four days, 4 people....)

Excellent location and the whole building was beautiful. Apartment was really spacious.
