NLThe location was great, just a few minutes walk away from two metro stations and the tram line that runs on the grand boulevard. ALDI and LIDL supermarkets within walking distance, plenty of restaurants nearby. The apartment was small but fitted with appliances and furniture cleverly, to accommodate two people.
No big knives, bread knife, only a few pans, so cooking and preparing food is a challenge. Although there's space for it in the bathroom, there's no washing machine, which would have been a huge bonus! Very few clothes hangers in the wardrobe. There's an iron but no ironing board. More hangers for towels in the bathroom would also be a plus, as there's only one. What I had serious difficulties with though is that it is advertised with free WI-FI but I could only enjoy it for the first 4 days out of 12 days. It started with having been sent an incorrect password: as it turned out the next day, they mistyped one character in the password. On the 5th day there was suddenly no internet. Long story short, I messaged and called the customer service every day, and it was a nightmare: first they insisted that it was a problem with the internet provider, however when I called them, they said they couldn't even reach the internet provider's customer services yet. Then they promised me on the phone a mobile router, but when I messaged them to confirm this, they asked me who I agreed with on this as they didn't know about it. They then promised to immediately buy a mobile router and deliver it to my the next day. They didn't come, instead, the same day in the evening I messaged them and they sent back a photo of the router placed on the table, but it was in the adjacent apartment to which I had no access. The same evening their college arrived, after his working hours, to pick up the router for me from the other apartment, however he couldn't get in because there was no key in the lock box, the guests occupying the apartment were away. Then I wrote them again and they promised that same evening that they will write to the guests that they would come the next day to collect the router for me. This never happened. I knocked on the door of my neighbours several times at different times of day the next days but they never answered.
