Lovely downtown apartment close to the Basilica

Clean quiet quaint location very close to the heart of Budapest

Loud buzzing noise from electric meter came on about 11pm at night requiring ear plugs to shut out noise. Leaking cistern caused the toilet to refill every 5 minutes again loudly. Switching off the valve at night solved the problem. We used the washing machine for a light wash the day before we left. The washing cycle stuck on its final minute and refused to open. Advice was sought from owners to open, which did not work and they were unable to send anyone to assist before we left. They have offered to return our items for £33 postage at our cost due to their view that we over loaded the machine or blocked it in some way. This is a complete fabrication to place blame on us and to prevent the return of our items at the owners expense. By all means book this property but don’t expect any expedient support if something goes wrong and be prepared to be blamed if it does.

The equipment in the kitchen could have been slightly better. A tea towel and a plug for the sink.

Very close to the Danube for a late night walk and to tram/metro/bus stations, very clean and modern rooms on arrival and the owner was great at communicating.

The apartment was as described. Good location. We did not use the kitchen we ate out all our meals. My disappointment was the lack of providing toilet paper. It should be listed if it is not provided. After a day of travel, I would have expected some toilet paper to be provided. I informed the host and did not receive a response.

Check-in and check-out is organized conveniently, but the apartment number was not indicated))). Thanks to comprehensive instructions, we were able to check in without any problem. The apartment lived up to expectations, excellent location, high ceilings, quiet. The kitchen is equipped with the necessary utensils, plates, glasses, ketleries.

From minuses it is a rather narrow (140 sm) bed and there was only one! tea cup?! Minus one point for that, everything else is great!
