Central Budapest Apartment

Location, punctual and friendly staff.

No AC. It got really hot in the apartment. Missing fence on the staircase.

Location was good. Apartment was affordable and easily accessible

The apartment block was very very noisy at night from other residents. One poor woman was clearly ill and shrieked throughout the night. The host was very rushed and rather unpleasant. He did not have time to answer any questions. He stressed repeatedly how I must be very quiet yet when I mentioned at check out about the noise in the block he just shrugged and smirked and rushed off to his next appointment - perhaps he needs an assistant?

The location is pretty awesome, with a good connection to the bus station Nepliget (to Kalvin ter), and also a train station. Nearby is the big market, Vaci street and Danube riverside. The apartment is in the courtyard of the building, neighbours are pretty quiet, and Thomas is a really helpful and reliable landlord. There is a small fridge, everything you need like towels, dishes, cutlery, there is ALDI and Spar (grocery stores) nearby, so making breakfast was pretty easy. There are also a lot of restaurants, also a washing point, pizza places, Burger King within 5 minutes walking distance... You get it when I say the location is pretty great :D from Fovam ter or Kalvin ter you can go to pretty every part of Budapest (sightseeing places) directly and with only one ticket to spare.. many attractions are also within the walking distance. -> pro tip for travellers: Download BudapestGo App - it'll make your life easier, since you buy and validate your tickets much easier from the comfort of your phone. Also, outside of the establishment it was much easier for us to pay with a card, since in exchange offices there is always commission... but you do you, boo 🌼

We liked everything... it's also written everywhere, but the place is not suitable for smaller children, since there is a staircase... we came as a couple, so for us it was amazing, clean and really nice. Smaller bathroom, with the best possibly used space! Thank you again for this.

A large cozy flat with kind and helpful personal.

Small and compact and clear communication with the host.

Overall it was ok considering the price that I paid but the apartment was small.
