Friendly home in the center

One of the few good things about the apartment was the plumbing — the water pressure was strong and the hot water worked well. The washing machine was also good.

We came to this apartment with my wife and child. Honestly, we wish we had never booked it. There is a constant sewage smell inside the apartment that never goes away. Even with the bathroom and toilet windows left open all day, the smell remains unbearable. The apartment is not centrally located at all — you have to walk at least 15 minutes just to reach public transportation. After midnight, it is impossible to sleep because of the noise coming from both the upstairs neighbors and the people next door. The mattress on the double bed is extremely uncomfortable and offers no comfort whatsoever. There is also a single sofa bed, but it is as hard as stone — sleeping on the floor would honestly be more comfortable. The blanket provided for two people looked like a single blanket cut in half from the middle :) It was impossible for a normal adult to even cover themselves properly. We were forced to buy an inflatable mattress from Decathlon. This is not a place where you can live under humane conditions. The owner rents this apartment at the price of a 3-star hotel, but the apartment is literally falling apart. There is no air conditioning. Even at the end of May, we were sweating and trying to sleep with mosquitoes everywhere. I cannot even imagine how unbearable this place would be in the summer. The only thing provided was an old floor fan. Half of the curtains are missing, and the ones that exist are broken and do not close properly. There is absolutely no privacy because people outside can directly see into the apartment. The microwave oven was broken. We reported it on the first day. A repairman came, failed to fix it, apologized, and left. The kitchen cabinets were sticky and dirty. The kitchen utensils (forks, knives, spoons, glasses) were extremely old and also sticky and unpleasant to use. There is no proper shower cabin — just a very old bathroom with visible rust inside. Rust had already started leaking from two different areas.

We had such a lovely stay in this apartment during our 3 nights in Budapest and felt very comfortable from the moment we arrived. The host was extremely kind, communication was excellent, and she also recommended several great places in the area, which we really appreciated. The apartment was clean, exactly as described in the listing, and even the sofa bed was already prepared for us upon arrival. The building was quiet and located in a peaceful neighborhood, while still being close to the city center and public transport. We truly enjoyed our stay and would be very happy to book this accommodation again during a future visit to Budapest.

El agua de la ducha ....

La ducha estaba rota y tuvimos que atarla con una bolsa de plástico. Al día siguiente la arreglaron. Un velador tenía el cable roto y se lo llevaron y no lo cambiaron. El depto no tenía el cartel con el nombre en la puerta y tardamos en ubicarlo. Al departamento le falta mantenimiento y decoración... Las toallas eran muy pequeñas y las almohadas malas...
