Super Central Apartment with A/C

Great location, big size quiet and Morden.

Lack of extra towels or toilet paper in storage.

Location was perfect. Really helpful host, easy to get keys and really nice apartment!

Very disappointing. The photos and description used to advertise this property are misleading. The kitchen is advertised as being fully equipped and the photos show a dinner setting for 4 people. The kitchen is not fully equipped, there is 1 pan 1 frypan, very limited cutlery, no can opener, no bottle opener, no wine glasses, cracked cups, the plastic kettle makes the water taste strange, no spare rubbish bags for the bin, a dirty sponge to wash the dishes. The overhead shower just sprays water all over the ceiling and walls because it is clogged up with limescale so you have to use the handheld shower, we spoke to the owner about this but was told that the apartment is not listed as the overhead shower working. There was a dead cockroach under the bin in the bathroom. We were only supplied work 1 showering towel and was told that you only get more towels if staying for more than 1 week. The glass balcony around the bedroom is loose, the bed has 2 mattresses put together, the sheet didn't fit the mattress properly and would move around in the night. The mattresses themselves were filthy, there was even bloodstains on one of them, the pillows were dirty and stained.

The apartment is pretty big. We cooked every day in the kitchen, there is a small pot and a pan and some kitchen utensils. The position is great, you have a lot of stores nearby. We didn’t spend much time inside, mostly just for sleeping. The toilet is an separate room from the main bathroom and there is ventilation. We stayed one week.

There is only one window that you can’t really keep open unless you want the neighbours to look at you while on the couch, or while you are away, as you are going to stay on the ground floor. Sometimes we would keep the door open so we would create a draft. The good part is that there is air conditioning. But if you don’t plan on staying all day inside this is not going to be a big problem.
