Chic central flat with river view

Central location, apartment was clean and spacious

It was a comfortable apartment with walkable distance to all important attractions in Budapest. Check in was easy , the only thing that worried me is that we couldn't connect to the host directly. We tried in any way possible but no reply as we wanted to ask if we could leave our luggages after Check out as we had a late flight.

Very well located and convenient for public transport access

The location was nice, the apartment had a typical vibe for Budapest. The view was also appreciated.

The bathroom pipes smelled. The bedroom was noisy from some electric buzzing, the living room from the street. The apartment got very hot.

The apartment was convenient for transport links. The staff were polite and accommodating and responded instantly to our requests and needs. The apartment was generally clean but needed some maintainence specially in the kitchen. The apartment is in a period block with high ceilings. There is working wifi and TV.

It needed some maintainence specially in the kitchen and better equipment e.g proper untensils. Would be okay if you were staying just a few days but longer stays like ours made it difficult. We didn't like the bathroom at all. The pictures on the bookings site are deceptive. It was a minscule bathroom with a washing machine squeezed at one end. The washer did not wash well or spin, so the clothes came out really soggy wet and needed hand wringing. As we were there 13 nights we needed to wash some things. The apartment is on the fourth floor. The pictures on the site don't show the 14 steps from the ground floor that lead up to the elevator. So if you have a person with reduced mobility they will suffer. This needs to be explicitly indicated in the description. Disability/assessability description required. The fourth floor means that the apartment can be very hot during hot weather and as there is no air conditioning we had the inadequate small fans on all the time when indoors. Although the description says 'river view' really what you see immediately is the trams, bus station and cars along the busy road so difficult and noisy if you open the windows. The river view is there but not directly. So this description is also mis-leading. Given the pricing it was disappointing and uncomfortable as it mis leads one into thinking there are 2 bedrooms and a living room with extra sofa bed, infact it is one bedroom and a living room doubling up as a 'bedroom' with a sofa bed. The description says sleeps 6! How?

- very loud if you sleep with an open window 🥲 - apartment doesn’t have air conditioning and it was not possible to cool down at all. So in the end of our stay temperature in the apartment was 30,5 degrees, which was insanely hot and IMPOSSIBLE to sleep. - the kitchen and floor was sticky when we arrived - I tried to contact the owners for any advice on how to cool down the apartment and use the stove, but NEVER received an answer - the apartment is on 4th floor, so it is very hot there. -very old ceiling Overall if it wasn’t for the heat, it would have been a good stay, but if you are staying in summer it is not the best decision, especially for people who have heat intolerance.
