Palace Quarter Suite

The location is great. The apartment has nice high ceilings and a grand historic feel to it. There are 91 steps to get to the front door which was fine for us but something to consider. We never met the hosts but they provided detailed instructions on how to access the property. Some nice small touches like providing washing up liquid, lots of toilet roll, and some clothes washing tablets.

There are 2 big bedrooms but no sitting room. The kitchen is essentially in the corridor between the two bedrooms. The WC has a bit of a smell to it but it was fine if you keep the door shut. The water was cut off for a day due to maintenance works. Not sure how regularly that happens.

This property was very clean and well appointed. It has beautiful tall ceilings. The rooms were spacious and it is plenty of room for 2 couples with one child each. (6 people) I really like the proximity to the M2 and M4. It has a wonderful location. Staff was very nice and helpful. There are notes around the apartment letting you know about rules. Very easy to check in/check out.

As mentioned in other reviews, it is on the 3rd floor with no elevator. Be aware if you traveling with disabled people or heavy luggage. For us it was just fine since we are able bodied. There is no holder for the shower handle which is hard for me like me who have a lot of hair to wash.

Large 2 bed apartment with very comfortable beds and clean and presentable throughout. The owners provided information for our stay in a prompt, professional but friendly manner ......

We were fit enough for the number of stairs up to the 3rd (top) floor apartment and there is no lift ..... thought this information was worth sharing.

Beautiful apartment in historic building. Large rooms, good air con, large and Comfortable beds.

4th floor and no lift, nearly a 100 steps in 37 degrees was a challenge

Two rooms were great for friends that wanted separate space. Air conditioning was fantastic. Large beds were nice. Internet worked well and television was good size for the room. Separate toilet and shower was convenient.

The stairs all 96 of them each way. The shower head you had to hold while standing in bathtub. Only enough towels for 1 each for 4 nights. The hall of the building entry was full of trash. Hallways were dark if you couldn't find the light switch.
