Wonderful Apartment Budapest

The location is great, it's in front of a metro station and a lot of buses, so in 10 mins you are in the city center. The owner is super nice, and responds very fast to the messages. The apartment was super warm which was very much appreciated coming fron the cold outside.

There was food in the drawers in the kitchen when we got there. There were dirty cloths and stuff such as coats in the bedroom drawers and closet. The bathroom smelled bad because of the pipelines. The TV can only be watched in hungarian. Finally, at night, if you turned on the light in the room, anyone passing though the hallway outside could see you, so there wasn't a lot of privacy. Nevertheless, it still is great despite the minor inconvinients.

Location very convenient by metro. Price also reasonable.

Host keeping some stuff in the unit like bail, broom, mop, hunging bed sheets cover. Without as mentioned is a very good accommodation.

The apartment is located right next to Kelenfoeld train station, checking in was quick, the host sent us details and an access code to enter the building, and once we arrived at the apartment door, we were able to take the keys and the building access token from the masterlock. Although we had an access token, we had to re-enter the access pin from the intercom as the token was not working or maybe we didn't know how to use it, but it was not a problem. The building was quite secure. To enter the area where the lift was located, there was another access code. The apartment was very clean, it had a mini kitchen, stove, oven, microwave, cutlery, utensils, plates and glasses, but we didn't need these at all. The bedroom was very clean, as was the whole apartment. It smelled nice and clean. The bed was quite large and comfortable, the bedroom also had a large wardrobe and a sofa. Also in the bedroom was a clothes dryer with freshly washed towels, probably from previous clients, but we didn't find this a problem as we had even more clean towels. The bathroom was small and clean. On the wall were posted a set of rules in several languages. The bathroom was ventilated, had a large shower cubicle, you basically didn't need more than that. What I appreciated was that the apartment had a heating system and we had no problems with the heat, you could change the room temperature yourself.

I can’t say the area of the apartment was pleasant, being probably near the train station, there were a lot of homeless and the area was quite dirty. It is relatively close to the City Center and right next to the apartment is a McDonald's and a Burger King.

The bathroom had broken key and no trash can. There was some laundry left there, it made the place smell. curtains are broken. The place need love and lots of fixes.
