Downtown Core Apartments

Good location. Highly recommend for people looking who will spend most of their time outside

The place is a little bit hot, but there's a fan that helps with that.

As a solo traveler who doesn’t like dorm type of hostels where you sleep with 10 people in the same room I opted for this “apartment” cause primarily I wanted to be alone and have my own bathroom. I was utterly scared due to the reviews but it is survivable. It indeed is a cellar that was made into a room, no windows qnd you can hear everything. BUT for the money and taking into consideration I only came there to shower and sleep it was good. The shared kitchen (which is located on the 1st floor) has everything you need to prepare some quick breakfast & coffee in the morning. I was staying in the summer - yes, it was hot, but you have a fan in the room and if you go outside as soon as you wake up & brush your teeth you can survive there 😃. Also the noise - yes, there are cardboard doors and the room is situated right under the front entrace to the apartments and you can hear everything (the footsteps from the main staircase will make you feel like someone is literally in the room with you 😃) but after the first night I got used to it. The bathroom noises also scared me at first, but you get used to it. A HUGE bonus is the location - it is situated in the middle of a really night life busy street and it is a 20min quick walk to the city centre - amazing. I also walked there from the station and it is like 30 minutes. So plenty of bars around for you to go to.

The location

The location is good. But it has no air circulation and no windows because it is fully under the staircase of the Apartment. There are facilities but NO OXYGEN. How a human can sleep there. I opened the door and slept badly. Without an air-conditioning this room is inhuman. I paid more than 40 Euros. To switch on TV, we need to off the fan. Without fan, in summer you can't live there

It was a very good value for the price. Absolutely central , very comfortable and clean. Can only advise it to everyone.
