Dorothy apartment near Budapest City Park

There is ample space and furniture in the apartment - it is totally livable even for extended stays. The apartment has proper cooking facilities and cutlery (but the stove uses gas, not induction, which is rare these days, but not a problem because there is a lighter provided). There is some cooking oil and spices in the cupboard. You check in on your own - keys are placed in a box with a combination code, and the host sends you the code before you arrive. I requested for a later checkout to match the departure time of my train, and the host kindly agreed to it. Quiet and pleasant neighbourhood, and there is a SPAR supermarket very nearby so it is easy to get groceries.

It is around 15 mins walk to any of the major transit nodes (Puskás Ferenc Stadion / Thököly út / Zugló vasútállomás), but once you get there, it is a quick bus or train ride into the city centre where most of the main attractions are. However, walking on Hungária krt. (the big main road with the number 1 tram running in the middle) doesn't feel too unsafe even after dark, because it is well-lit.

Great location, fantastic apartment, beautiful facilties and so homely.

All that we needed in an apartment. Could cook dinner with all the utensils, even found spices. Lots of space for the price.

time to change hardware household. using the kettle is very dangerous. Times are tough, but the safety of tenants is more important.

- Ease of getting the keys - Communication with the owner - Overall coziness of the apartment (owl-theme, reviews from previous renters, free Netflix, though we didn't use it :) ) - There's all needed cutlery, pans, toaster etc.

- The only source of heating was the AC, so unless we turned it on - it was pretty cold in the apartment. - The washing machine did not work.

The only thing that I would mentioned is that the pillows were a bit uncomfortable. When the material is a bit old and it does not hold anymore makes it unfuncitonal.
