Yes, location is good as is the authenticity of the building itself - very Budapest. Whilst the exterior might be described as shabby chic, the same cannot be levelled at the apartment itself which is absolutely dire and need of complete renovation. My friends on my trip staying nearby couldn't believe how bad it was.

Almost everything apart from the location. Poorly decorated and dirty with threadbare and broken furniture, this property is truly awful. It should be removed from booking.com as whilst some would say 'you get what you pay for', it doesn't represent a standard that would be acceptable to most people booking it. The pictures on the ad don't represent what you are getting. It's a shame as it could be good but I couldn't even say it was clean.

Nothing at the apartment was good

Horrible. Worst accomodation from booking I already had, very bad experience to live with the Family. We arrived to the apartment and no linen on beds. I sent a message to the owner who said the reason was a laundry problem (at that moment ok, last minute situations appear). The bad part is the fact that we leave te the apartment during the evening and in our return we saw the linen box outside house and nothing inside was prepared. After that, mattresses and pilow super dirty and yellow and dilapided furniture. Pictures nothing compares to what we saw. Since everyone was umcomfortable, we sleeped with our clothes.

The soffas were very very dirty. There was no hot water House was very cold i barely made the heating system work on my last day. The pillows were very small . I found by luck that there was netflix on tv as there were nearly no channels open on Vodafone TV Door of the bathroom didn't close mostof the time. There was en expresso machine but i did not know what kind of capsules work with it

We liked the location, the apartment looks nice overall and the bed is comfortable.

Communication with the home owner is non existent. We received instruction on how to reach the apartment and nothing else. The kitchen was dirty. All cutlery, glasses and plates had to be washed again. The trash can wasn't emptied, so all trash left from previous tenants was left there. Since we didn't care to take out someone else's trash, we used our own plastic bag and threw it out. On day 5 that trash started to smell real bad, however we were leaving that day, thankfully. The heating system is very poor. We left the heating on, at 30°C for 5 hours, and the room was still cold. Hot water in the shower is only possible if you turn the shower on, and leave of for around 10 minutes. Which would be okay for the home owner to communicate with us. On the first day we showered with barley warm water, until we figured out that it needs to run for 10 minutes, before you even get in. There's no shower curtain. When you shower the toilet will flood with water. We used a spare towel that was provided, but it still wasn't enough. This next part is not that important, but it will show you a clear picture how the home owner is not interested in his guests in any way. We wanted to turn on the TV, so we can stream from our phone, since I saw that it is possible. I tried to make use of the 2 rotes present, but they don't work. First remote can only turn on the TV, change channels and volume. However, it cannot change to HDMI iput, so you can actually watch the TV through the 2nd device. I went back and forth with the home owner, since I thought that the TV's original remote is missing, which would allow me to switch to HDMI input. The only thing they explained is that you only need those 2 remotes. Not once did they sent me the instructions on how to use those remotes, or offered to help in any way. I gave up after that, since it was clear they are not interested in helping set everything up.
