Blumen Apartment

Heni is a wonderful host; warm and welcoming with heaps of information regarding anything in Budapest. The apartment is also special with it’s eclectic interior; clean and situated in a quiet street. We arrived a day before New Year’s Eve, and Heni had a welcome package of champagne, chocolates and two tiny lucky pig charms for us. My lucky pig is now permanently in my camera bag with two other charms that travel wherever I go. It was a special welcoming touch that I have never received anywhere else. I walk everywhere I go as it’s the only way to fully explore a place so the apartment was perfectly positioned for us. It’s a 10 minute walk to Nyugati train station and a few minutes to the tram and busses. I’d definitely stay there again if I were to find myself in Budapest again.

The apartment didn't let us down. So quirky and lovely. The air conditioning was a godsend for a Scottish couple. The wee balcony was great as we are both smokers. Close to amenities and tram, bus. Heni was fantastic. Very helpful indeed Highly recommend.

Blumen apartment is an amazing place to stay in! We loved unique and romantic interior, as well as surroundings which offered many interesting sights. In the vicinity there are great locations to visit, such as Pinball Museum and Budapest Jazz Club, and there’s a 0-24h open supermarket very near the apartment. Heni is a wonderful and very helpful host, she took care of us, leaving us snacks, drinks and towels for spa, and also giving us useful advice. Apartment has great facilities such as iron and coffee maker that we used a lot, as well as very comfortable bed. We would for sure come back next time!

The host was very very friedly and everything worked perfectly fine. Room and small kitchen had everything you could need. Very cosy! Having a balcony was great.

Stylish, charming, and fun apartment in a really convenient location. The owner is very lovely and dealt with a change of plans well: flexible and understanding. I liked the use of virtual check-in, too. You get a microwave AND fridge!

The pillows were a bit uncomfortable for me, and I needed more or bigger. The shower head is a bit broken, so the pressure was weak, and I had to hold it since the clasp was too small to hook it up. The toilet seat was loose, too. The towels were soft but too small. But this is nit-picking. The apartment is luxurious and affordable.

Henriett is a very kind host and she takes really good care of her guests asking if everything is fine and giving little tipps for nice places to go to. The apartment is very pretty, clean and in a quiet but central neighbourhood. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely come back.

The apartment is nice and cosy, awesome location from where to start your sightseeing trips. It is really quiet all day and night, even for an extremely light sleeper like me. Heni the host will help you out with anything you need. I loved it!

Maybe it should be specified that the stove is a plug in thing with space for only one pot/pan. I booked the apartment when I was still hesitant about going to restaurants but I ended up doing it every day (because come on, Hungarian food?!) so I didn't need the kitchen. But other people might so just fyi :)
