Korona Apartman Székesfehérvár

A map of the historical part of the town was in the room, and some photos with explanations for the main objectives. I like the position of the house, very near the historical center, with some coffee shops and restaurants. There is an old fashion shopping centre vis-a-vis but I was not interested. Over the road was a big TESCO.

It was a little bit difficult to find the property. Then, to get the key I had to call and ask how to proceed, as I never used such a system till now. During the rest of the time we have been left alone. The host sent me a photo of the gate but no explanation. I thought I booked a ground level apartment but, to my surprise, it was a basement one. If I had knew, I had not booked there. It was cold and I have to call again to ask how to start the heat as, again, I know not that system. The friend said he will speak with the host and, till we came back from our walk, it was warm. Complimentary coffee/tea bags would have been nice. Parking was not possible on the street but there was a big, free parking over the road. For us was a bit of problem as we are senior travellers (76 and 83) and we had to cross a bridge with many stairs (for us) to reach the car. Again, if I would have known this in the details, I would have not book there. There is no explanation about this on booking.com, only the mention of the parking lot. As booking.com cashed the money for accommodation before, I was asked to leave the cash money for the dog and city tax (25 euros) on the table. I had a bad impression not to meet the host even once! I know the lady speaks only Hungarian, but we also speek a little, so it would not have been a problem for small talk. At least when we departed!

The room was very beautiful decorated and also had a lot of space, it was right in the city center

Unfortunately it was dust everywhere, some of the cups were dirty, the toilet cover was dirty, even the bed sheets had crumbles and pieces of hair from somebody else. I was truly disappointed to find all of this. The parking space was not exactly near and I felt unsafe as a solo traveler to left it there, as a man was looking strangely at my car. So, I moved it on the street next to it and it said on the sheet at the entrance of room that after 6 pm or in weekends that parking lot is free. So I moved it at 7 pm on Friday and was back at 9 am in the morning to leave on Saturday, but I still received a fine.
