First of all, I booked this hotel because on Booking.com it is listed as beachfront, which is misleading. It is definitely not beachfront and it takes at least about five minutes to walk to the beach. The main entrance is also quite hidden and not easy to find when you arrive. Another issue was that there was NO Wi-Fi in the room, so whenever I needed internet on my phone I had to leave the room. The curtains in the room were also very unusual — they looked more like bed and broken sheets rather than proper curtains, which made the room feel like a cheap hostel. Additionally, no one at the front desk informed me at check-in that the entrance door is closed at night and requires a code to enter. I later realized that this information had been sent through a message on Booking.com, but it would have been helpful if the staff had explained it during check-in. On Sunday morning at around 8:00 a.m., someone from the staff knocked for few minutes on my door. I’m not sure who it was or why they were knocking that early. I didn’t open the door, but it woke me up. At check-out, there was no secure place to leave valuables. There was only an open space, so I had to carry my laptop with me the whole day. Also, no one helped me with my luggage. I understand this is not mandatory, but after traveling for two months in Bali I could definitely notice a difference in the level of service here. I also noticed that guests were being offered a free drink in exchange for leaving a positive review on Google, which made me question how genuine some of the online reviews might be. Finally, the nearby beach itself was unfortunately very dirty and full of plastic, which was quite disappointing. For this price in Bali, you can definitely find better places to stay

The price is too high for the value compared to similar hosting options. The shower water smells like sulfur. I thought it was because of the volcanic soil, but after I moved to a hotel very close to this one, the water was fine. They need to drain and clean the pipes and water system.

The only good things here are the café and the location. They make a really great chicken salad — that's mostly what I had. And the coffee is really good too. The staff are also very friendly and warm.

This was by far the worst place I’ve ever booked — and the high rating is a complete joke. I genuinely regret staying here. First of all, the Wi-Fi is a disaster. It doesn’t work in the rooms at all. I had to keep buying mobile data just to stay connected. It's 2025 — having no working Wi-Fi in a room is beyond unacceptable. Second, the beds are awful. The sheets made me itch constantly, and there’s no way they were properly cleaned. I’m 100% sure hygiene is not a priority here. If I hadn’t paid upfront, I would’ve walked out immediately. Even my girlfriend, who stayed with me a few nights, couldn’t stand it and complained multiple times. Third, the people staying here. I tried greeting them several times — not a single one could bother to reply or even smile. Just straight-up rude, cold behavior across the board. Zero sense of community or respect. This place is overpriced, overrated, and absolutely not worth a second look. Total disappointment. Avoid at all costs.

There was a cat in our room and as my husband has severe allergies to cats we could not stay. We have had no response from the hotel or booking.com in relation to our communications regarding this which is disappointing. We had to walk around with suitcases at 11pm looking for another hotel.
