The Corner Apartment

The apartment was lovely and had a nice open plan kitchen and living room area. Everything was so spotless and clean, and newly renovated.There was a wood burner stove to light a fire also and this was very cosy. There was also logs beside the stove and fire lighters. There is a smart TV also so we could watch Netflix which was really nice. There is a sofa bed in the living room and this was also very comfortable. There was fresh blankets and pillows under the sofa bed. Fiona was so helpful with any queries we had. There was also tea and coffee left out which was really nice. And there was USB ports on the sockets too which was so helpful if there was no plug on phone chargers.

Everything is very modern and very well maintained. Super clean. Quiet location just outside the village.

The shower has too little slope and the curtain is too short. You have to be careful that the whole bathroom is not flooded.

Apartment was very bright, clean, spacious and well-equipped with modern fittings. Uncluttered which we like. Bed comfortable. We found it easy to cook and use the facilities. We enjoyed the local area, although there isn't much nearby.

Shower is more of a wet room and that meant floor was always wet. Would be helpful to include a mop or something to reduce water on bathroom floor. But a very minor issue.

It was an 800m walk to the village shop and two pubs. The locals in the pub we visited and the shop were very friendly and welcoming. Fiona responded quickly to the only minor issue we had, the accommodation was very clean, well equipped and spacious. On site parking was great to have, the location was quiet but not isolated with an amazing view from the route down to the village.

We had booked for two people and a dog but the hosts were not expecting a dog until we messaged them the day before our arrival. We had this same issue with several of our bookings on this trip.

I loved how peaceful the location is and it’s close by places to eat, I loved how they had menus in the folder so you could grab something to eat, the Chinese was fantastic

Location was not where I expected but was along a small quiet country road on the outskirts of the town so was really quiet and recently renovated with an exceptional accommodation
