There was nothing not to like

What a beautiful stay we had. The apartment was clean and comfortable and had everything that we needed. Our hosts Patrick and Dan were welcoming, friendly and obliging. The location is perfect, close to the town and overlooking the beach. Everything was wonderful. Thank you so much O'Neills 😊

The views were amazing, and the hosts extraordinary!

Stunning view of the beach, the ocean and Dingle peninsula. The apartment has a big private balcony just above the atlantic waves. It is very clean and equipped with everything you might need, from washin mashine to well equiped kitchen including microwave. The staff was very likeable and helpful. Also, the location close to Tralee is perfect for day trips to the cliffs of moher (take the ferry), Dingle, Killarney and Ring of Kerry (eg Skelligs). We had a great time and hope to come back some day!

So close to the village and had everything needed for a 2 night stay. Patrick was a fantastic host very helpful

Location was amazing - you couldn’t get any closer to the beautiful beach. Waking up to the sound and the smell of the sea. Wonderful!

Really can’t think of anything - except leaving!

The photos don’t lie; this place really is right on the coast. The location alone makes this place a 20-out-of-10. It was so beautiful to have the Atlantic lapping at Ballyheigue beach right outside the apartment. The local Costcutter and Centra are barely five minutes walk away, so self catering is really easy. The apartment doesn’t exactly offer a luxury experience, but the price was so keen that we had no expectation of such. It was open, comfortable and clean though, and with that location and view, offered exceptional value for money. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The apartment is powered by a coin-operated meter, and our two days in the apartment swallowed up €16. The meter felt very hungry for €2 coins, as I didn’t think we were using lots of power. We cooked twice (dinner and breakfast), used two of the three electric blankets, charged some phones, and watched a tiny bit of RTE, and €16 for the privilege seemed expensive. I thought the price for the apartment itself was cheap, though, so on balance it wasn’t really a problem. It’s just a case of mentally preparing for around €6-€10 extra per day in electricity costs, having some €2 coins handy, and knowing that the electricity could run out at any moment so everything but an emergency light going out isn’t a cause for panic.

Kitchen needed to be cleaner rest of apartment was fine, but needed small improvements like ornaments or milk in fridge etc as although it was lovely it was a bit empty looking so could be made more homely Also wasn't aware its metered electricity, but host was very helpful with this . But overall it was a lovely place. Would stay again.
