Delightful Studio Log Cabin

A lovely warm welcome by a lovely lady. This is a truly special, peaceful place. The fleece bedding is so comfortable and the shower and bathroom facilities are excellent and a great use of space. The flowers and trees surrounding the hut is honestly a little bit magical. I could truly relax here. These ladies are doing an amazing job, I can't wait to return.

Everything was perfect. Maybe a little oil on the doors hinges to stop some squeak but that's so minor and didn't affect our stay whatsoever. If I could say one thing it would honestly not be a complaint and only for yourself but I did feel like I was overusing washing up liquid because of the little bottle it comes in. It comes out too quickly without the little squirter on top and I felt like I was wasting it without meaning too.

Beautiful cabin in the countryside.lovely secluded location 😊you definitely need a car to get around Wexford . Secret valley and JFK Homestead was on our list enjoyed both .

The wi-fi was on and off so couldn’t watch Netflix 🙈apart from that we loved the property 👏

great Spot for seeing the country if you have a car. sun shone in through the windows. woke to sound of birds. the kitchenette allowed for self catering.

the bed was a bit to soft and there was not much space but overall accommodation was lovely.

Very clean and lovely scenery

We stayed for 2 nights and the Sauna was out of order for the entire time. The cabin was very cold the first night and so we needed an extra heater for the second.

The area was very quiet. Duvet cover and bed sheets were clean.

Sauna hours (10am-7pm) are not flexible and not advertised (we only found out when we got to the property at 7:30pm when we were told it´s too late to fire up the sauna), even though we were the only guests on the property. Sauna time is restricted to 20 minutes PER STAY even though it is only a recommendation from the HSE. (host was reluctant when trying to negotiate extra time), with extra 20 mins charged at 5 Eur per person per 20 minutes run (the host reluctantly forfeited the extra charge for extra time during our round of "negotiations" on the evening we arrived). Shower was fed from the same water heater as the kitchen sink, giving you a 5 minute shower before the water goes cold. Bathrooms was freezing, as there was no heating in there. Bed was small enough to make me fall out of the bed at night and get our feet caught in guardrail at the end of the bed (we´re both 180cm tall) There is a minimum 2 night stay (not advertised on booking.com, only found out when I reached out to the host 1h after we arrived trying to find out if I could get at least a partial refund on the 2nd night, as the conditions were completely not as advertised). We left the property the morning after out first night. Fridge and parts of the cabin were moldy or had dry rot present. No blackout blinds (the lights that were permanently on in the garden were reaching the room to the point that I could see inside without any light turned on after my eyes adjusted to the light level) No microwave oven to quickly heat up a meal (hotplate and pan only provided)
