Barrow mews views

Lovely apartment with everything you need to make it feel like home . Host very easy to contact and help with any questions. Stayed for 4 nights and used as a base to see most of Ireland . Lovely little town with nice pubs.

It is up 2 flights of stairs but not really a problem as long as you don't have heavy bags. Parking is a 2 minute walk away but also not really a problem as it's a nice walk back past the river.

Very cozy apartment. A bit cold, but I guess it's a matter of getting used to it. You could turn on the heating yourself, so when it got cold, we warmed ourselves. My sister-in-law, who has been living in Ireland for several years, said it was a very warm apartment. The apartment itself is located practically on the river, close to the city park. Also a few steps to the center. Full of pubs and restaurants.

· Unfortunately, many of the attractions that interested us were far away. If my sister-in-law wasn't there, we would have had to use public transportation a lot.

The apartment is very spacious and beds were very comfortable.

The entrance to the apartment is very dark and loads of steps up to the apartment without good lighting.

Barrow mews views is truly a v lovely air b&b property and Ashling is a veey kind & supportive host, with you every step of the way to make sure her guests are comfortable in her apartment. The apartment itself is lovingly & tastefully decorated to make it feel relaxing like a home. The kitchen is so well equipped with lot of thought put into it. The heating works well and so does the hot water in the shower. The rooms and lounge are v comfy. The washing machine and dryer were v handy & worked v well.

Nothing however if i had to comment just for constructive feedback, i would say maybe to have a combined mixer for hot & cold water in bathroom sink. Seperate taps led to either super cold or scalding hot water in morning while brushing the teeth. But its a v small discomfort for a lovely apartment in all other ways.

The location was ideal for our needs. It was very convenient for attending events in the Seven Oaks Hotel, less than a 10 minute walk. We also really enjoyed the nearby Barrow Walk, and strolling around Carlow town. The apartment was very comfortable and spacious.

Nothing about this property was good.

1) It was extremely difficult to find. 2) No Parking. All parking was pay to park and blocks from the apartment. 3) The outside looked like a poor tenement building. 4) Apartment was on the top floor that was accessible only by two flights of outside stairs. 5) The apartment key lock box was difficult to work. 6) The furniture looked like it was dirty and worn. 7) No live television. Only Netflix and Prime. 8) The shower was the smallest I've ever seen. 9) It was not possible to control the water in the shower and therefore the hot water was so hot as to cause burns.

Comfort, cleanliness, great facilities and a great information booklet on the table for arrival. We were even greeted with snack and tea/coffee for our stay which was a lovely surprise.

I couldn’t fault the place, We had a lovely stay.
