Assaroe Falls

Ideal location for visiting our friends in Rossinver, Leitrim. Very spacious and plenty of bathrooms. Heating system was good and plenty of hot water. Nice views to the town and river. Balconies would be lovely to use in summer and I would stay here again.

A few minor improvements would help this property even more. More glasses and decent mugs would be good and some better utensils, cheese grater was useless. Some lights were not working, bulbs needed replaced. The modern art work on the walls was the strangest I have ever seen! Some prints of Donegal scenery would be a much better idea.

We stayed for two nights and really enjoyed our break. The apartment was clean and comfortable and also lovely and warm. Very good shower (Into the bath). Nice balcony. Just a five minute walk into the town which has a few nice pubs both the sporty ones and also a couple with tvs switched off which can be nice also. I think that a number of the apartments have full time residents so you will notice clothes and such drying on the balconies but obviously that is no issue whatsoever.

There was nothing that we disliked although restaurants in the town are quite limited. We had gorgeous pizza in Dicey Riley's one evening and the other brought a Chinese back to the apartment. A couple of the real quirky pubs only open on certain nights but you will not be stuck for a place to quench the thirst.

From the initial check in to check out everything was great.The apartment was spacial,warm and quiet with great views.Grainne answered any questions we had and provided extra keys for all the group. Would definitely recommend to others and already plan to stay again.

- First of all: This is not a hotel. It’s an apartment complex housing refugees. They made some units available for folks traveling for holidays. I believe in supporting refugees and providing them housing, but if you’re looking for a hotel (as advertised), then this is not the place for you - ⁠The furniture is quite worn - Beds and couches are as uncomfortable as can get - ⁠The rooms offer the bare minimum, sometimes not even that - ⁠Carpets haven’t been cleaned in a while and you can smell it; avoid walking around the apartment in white socks - ⁠Towels had an unusual smell - ⁠Generally speaking, lots of folks hanging around the entrance door, one of them tried their luck opening one the car doors to check whether we left it unlocked - Smell of weed on the balcony every single evening - ⁠Bin bags all around the car parking spaces - ⁠I tried to find the bins, to no success, because when entering the underground parking spaces you can’t get back to your apartment and there’s no light working anywhere - ⁠Severe water damage in the underground car parking - spalling concrete everywhere - ⁠Overall the apartment showed severe signs of lack of maintenance - ⁠We had to blast all electric rads on full power just to get the temperature to a level that is acceptable for a family with kids - ⁠I can’t recommend Assaroe Falls and we won’t be back here again

The apartment was very spacious and clean, with every facility needed. The views were beautiful overlooking the river. The manager was very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely return.

The kitchen facilities were not great- especially in the 3 bedroom apartment given the amount of people it can sleep There wasn't enough crockery etc....and the fridge was very small The fridge was also not functioning properly and froze some of our food, which had to be thrown out The leather sofas were also a little dilapidated, and the leather was falling off the arms of the sofa

The location was lovely and the apartment was very comfortable and quiet. Plenty of parking.
