Burren Court Lodge

L’appartement est confortable, bien équipé et spacieux. La résidence est mignonne, très adaptée aux familles, mais un peu au milieu de nulle part.

Les fenêtres sont sales et mal isolées. Il faisait très froid dans la salle de bain malgré le chauffage ajouté gentiment par Susan.

Burren Court Lodge is about 8km from the village of Ballyvaughn. The location is convenient to various attractions and other towns and villages. There is also a free shuttle bus service from various points, which is a great environmentally friendly way to see the Burren. Burren Court itself is a series of small apartments around a lovely courtyard with picnic benches. The unit I stayed in was comfortable. The towels and sheets were clean and crisp, and there were ample dishes, glasses, and other kitchen utensils so you could cook for yourself if you wished. The bed was comfortable also it took up kost of the space in the bedroom, so there wasn't a lot of room to maneauver. Susan, the manager, was lovely. She warmly welcomed me and provided loads of information about the local area, including restaurants recommendations. She gave me a lift into town on my first night and made herself available via WhatsApp for any questions or issue. This was a lovely spot to stay, quietly surrounded by nature in the heart of the Burren.

The shower had some mildew and the rug in the living area needed to be cleaned. I also noticed some popcorn under the couch, which I didn't have. So it felt that housekeeping might have been more cursory than detailed.

Sehr ruhig. Zentral gelegen um den Burren zu erkunden. Auch die Cliffs of Moher sind gut zu erreichen. Freundliche und hilfsbereite Managerin
