Burren Court Lodge

The location is between Ballyvaughan and Lisdoonvarna and is convenient to all tourist amenities, though rural. Its very quiet at night. The kitchen is very well stocked with equipment, probably the best I've seen anywhere. Nice small sitting room and tv too.

I like to see good recycing facilities when staying in accommodation and while there was a bag for dry recyclables, there is nothing for fruit/veg peelings/teabags. A small kitchen caddy would be great, as the premises is otherwise sustainable (no mow rule etc).

It was a break away we needed so it was perfect the apartment was roomy and comfortable

The only negative It was way too far from everything the nearest anything ie shops pubs restaurants etc were about 15 km away, I took the advice to stock up but I forgot one or 2 things.

Lovely lady running the business, made us feel extremely welcome

Susan was still at the property when we arrived, so she showed us in and acquainted us with the property. She also gave us recommendations for where to eat in town, and even helped us get a cab to town! She was super helpful and friendly! Because the property is not in a town, it was so quiet, so peaceful.

Everything was great.

My wife and I spent 3+ weeks in Ireland and Burren Court Holiday Homes was our favorite stay. If you have the chance to stay there, I wouldn’t hesitate making a reservation. The place is beautiful inside … very clean and well designed with a great kitchen, living area, and bedroom/bathroom areas that are accessed through private/individual hallway doors. The center courtyard is well-landscaped and great for gathering with other homes in the complex. It’s situated in the Wild Atlantic Way area, quite close to some small towns (like Doolin), the Cliffs of Moher, the Dingle Peninsula, the ferry to the Aran islands, and southern Galway area. Our trip was side-tracked with me needing to go to the Galway hospital. Susan is the owner and she went way out of her way to help us. She was fine with us spending an extra night (at no expense) and, unbeknownst to us, stopped at a local grocery store to get some things for me. She also stayed in touch with my wife as we transitioned to our stay in Galway. If you want to stay at a tremendous place, with an angel named Susan, this is the place.

There was nothing we disliked.
