Christian Quarter Studio I

Fantastic location in the centre of the old city! super friendly host, beautiful aesthetics in the room and plenty of space for all our belongings.

Extremely well equipped, clean and beautiful. Just book it.

Getting to the studio was quite easy as it was only a few minutes walk from Jaffa Gate. Enter the code on the keypad and, poof, you are in. Very convenient.

I was happy with the whole experience. There is nothing to add as it was the perfect place.

It’s a perfect set up for an extended stay. The small kitchen and laundry were essential for me. There are plenty of shelves and a nice place to hang clothes. The light from the windows is very nice.

Not the property - the street outside is crowded with male Islamic market vendors. I didn’t expect this on the Christian quarter road. As a woman traveling alone they were aggressive and too friendly. I was very uncomfortable- but this has nothing to do with the apartment which was perfect. I felt very safe inside and very comfortable.

The room preserves the style of medieval houses from the Near East, but its facilities are modern: kitchenette equipped with microwave oven, electric hob, coffee maker, electric kettle; room equipped with washing machine, iron, hair dryer. For a longer stay, all of these become very important. The host even provides filter coffee :) Also, Mike responds very quickly to any request for travel information. The description of the property on Booking.com is exactly the one in reality. From here you can easily reach all the major tourist attractions in the city of David, but have easy access to public transport, including to other cities in Israel.

Beautiful place to stay and enjoyed the old city. A little difficult to find due to co gratin from so many buildings, however, owner provided excellent directions and picture of door to find. Would definitely recommend and book again.

Wasn't an issue for us but, as with most places in the Old City, many stairs to climb to access the room. Light sleepers also may be sensitive to the church bells and azaans that are audible. Again, wasn't an issue for us!
