If you are looking for an affordable accommodation option with a great host, look no further! Salamath Homestay is a great place. Hameed, the host, is reliable and friendly, willing to do all he can to help. My friends and I booked a 2 bedroom apartment and it served all our needs. Would book again if back in Fort Cochi.

The kitchen facilities were extremely basic. This isn't a complaint but just something to be aware of if you stay.

"Mossie invested swamp"

Nothing really, it was not a good stay.

Had to pay before seeing rooms...not surprised really as we would have changed accomodation. Dirty rooms, kitchenet was poorly equiped, place was overwgelmed with mosquitoes on arrival and no way to ventilate as no mossie screens. Windows not sealed so mossies kept getting in. Was offered Air Con remotes for extra 1000 IRN. After first night and over 100 bites the owner offered Aircon for free and gave us 4 mossie plugs. Worst stay in India!
