Residence Inn Homestay

Location of the property is good, outside views are charming. Value for money stay.

Room was nice with clean sheets and quilts. Geyser , WiFi (could be better though) and drinking water was also available. Seema aunty received us, as soon as we reached and called her. There was no to minimal intervention from the owner which was nice. There is a shop right outside where you can buy groceries or any dry snacks if needed. There is a cafe and dhaba also nearby if you’re hungry. Kartik, the owner helped us with cab services as well.

Our stay was located quite a distance from the main area of Shimla, making it essential to have our own vehicle for easy exploration. Plus, the roads leading to the property is currently under construction. Fortunately, Kartik, the owner of the accommodation, assisted us in arranging a cab driver. It seems they have a collaboration with the stay, which made the service both affordable and cheaper than other options in the area. The highlight of our trip was undoubtedly our cab driver, Pinku Bhaiyya. He was not only kind and funny, but also incredibly helpful. He dropped us off and picked us up whenever we needed to go out, and he took us to popular spots in Kufri. At the end of our stay, he also ensured we reached our final drop-off point at MC Car Parking safely. Overall, his support greatly enhanced our experience in Shimla.

The host was very helpful

They don't have staff to assist with the luggage and the stairs to reach the apartment is not that easy for older people. but thats normal for a hilly area I guess. they should arrange a nearby parking area for the vehicles as currently the vehicle needs to be parked a bit far and on roadside.

Had an absolutely wonderful experience. The host was incredibly welcoming and hospitable, making sure every aspect of our stay was comfortable.I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to relax and enjoy a peaceful getaway!

The rooms were really clean. All ingredients to cook were available in the kitchen. You can cook anything. The host is supportive. The view is also good.
