Members were good. Rooms were good and clean

The location. Much interior. Its almost 25 stairs down the road difficult with luggage bags. Faced problems with those. Though they helped but as no stuff for these thing only family members available there it was difficult to handle or tell them to carry our bags

Host Karthik is very nice and called me soon after I booked from booking.com to understand my arrival and stay details. He is polite and very helpful. We landed in shimla early in the morning though my booked stay not available at that time his mother arranged an alternative stay to freshen up without any extra cost. They treated us like extended family while we are around, the best part here is well maintained kitchen with required utensils, attached balcony, smart TV and free wifi. Other thing I forgot mention is very next door you can find departmental store for your all needs.

Behaviour of the owner. It's was very excellent. View from the homestay of shimla was so nice. Enjoy every minutes of the stay. Owner Mr Kartik help me out every time when I needed. The rooms and basic amenities are very excellent. I wish when ever I got chance to visit shimla again, I will go with residence inn homestay.

Family is very good. Home is well maintained. Overall, very good and peaceful.

Family could have provided with toiletry, towels, heater in service. Also, home was 2 floors below road..little inconvenience for disabled people with luggage.

The stay had all the necessary stuff we could ask for, from hot water supply in a clean bathroom to a cooking space for cooking our own food with cooking gas and utensils provided too. It also has a balcony to sit and relax outside. If weather conditions are not great to step out then the room is also equipped with wifi and a smart tv. As the place is slightly away from Mall road, you would get a proper feel of wilderness to it too while taking casual walks outside in the pine forests. But that does not mean it is too far - buses stop right outside in an interval of every 30minutes that could take you to the city. Lastly, the stay owner Kartik and his family have been very hospitable and took care of any queries or requests we made. This overall is a great stay - that too at a reasonable budget!
