Bol Summer Residence

We arrived at the property and were surprised by how small the room was. To be fair, the room size is shown on the website, so we were not misled, but we were still definitely surprised by just how tiny it felt in person. I would not recommend this room for anyone travelling a long distance with large bags. We also had a disappointing experience with the pool. We met with friends who were staying in the same spot to meet with us. They brought their three young children, all under five, over to swim. Within about five minutes, one of the owners abruptly told us that this was not okay, and that kids are not welcome despite the hotel not communicating it as adults only. Overall this made us feel uncomfortable and we decided to not stay at the premises anymore. Based on that experience, I would not recommend assuming the swimming pool is a shared or welcoming space for guests visiting with friends. What was most disappointing was the manner in which it was handled. The conversation took place in front of our friends and their children, and the tone felt confrontational and embarrassing. A more courteous explanation of the rules would have been appreciated. Overall, the property may suit some travellers, but it was not the right fit for us.

The hosts were very helpful and very friendly. They went above and beyond! Would recommend this stay to all, the location was brilliant and the pool area was a lovely addition.

There isn’t much at all that we didn’t enjoy. The only minor thing we would suggest would be a full length mirror in the bedroom. But other than that it was fabulous!

Huoneisto oli täydellinen, tahrattoman puhdas ja rauhallinen. Ilmastointi pelasi hyvin ja myös uima-allas oli ihana. Omistaja oli tarvittaessa helposti tavoitettavissa, erittäin ystävällinen ja avulias. Jääkaappiin oli ajattelevaisesti varattu väsyneille matkustajille kylmät virkistävät juomat. Huoneiston sijainti kätevästi lähellä Bolin palveluita. Suosittelemme erittäin lämpimästi.

Great location with lovely views out to the ocean, immaculately clean apartment, very friendly and responsive host. We loved our stay and would definitely be back.
