Beautiful property with lots of character

The apartment was a beautiful period property with lots original features. The kitchen was very well equipped and each bathroom had an ensuite shower room. We'd definitely stay here again. I was in contact with the hosts on a couple of occasions and they were extremely helpful and accommodating.

The sofa beds weren't the comfiest. A mattress topper would have helped.

The place was beautiful, check in was easy - hosts were more than lovely and easy to contact.

The property was unique.

The beds were uncomfortable, the pillows were very smelly and the whole apartment smelt damp. We also could not get heating to work.

There's a great amount of space

Wifi isn't the best in the living/dining room and one of the bedrooms feels quite damp.

Generous sized accommodation in a beautiful old house; the ensuite bathrooms were much appreciated. Convenient location. Very well equipped modern kitchen and very large airy living room. The welcome bottles of Prosecco were a wonderful surprise and we enjoyed playing pool. There was parking for 2 cars, though the space was a little tight.

There was a strange smell lingering. There seemed to be some not so clean bits. The electric radiator/towel rail in one of the shower rooms was not working. The given contact number replied quickly and said they would contact the owner. Nothing more was heard. The (surprising) Security Deposit was not returned within the 5 days as stated in the email and there was no response to our queries. It was returned after a week.

Very responsive host and good communication, had everything you would need in the apartment. Pool table was a super hit with the kids, well located.
