Apartments Stupar

Clean and well equipped apartment with big terrace and a nice view. The owner were very kind, they are living in the same building. The beach and city centre are both around 15 minutes by foot.

I don't know how nowbody mentioned the loose tv antenna that bangs on the roof with a nasty sound when it's windy. Has to be fixed.

This is an apartment on a hill overlooking the seaside, we a had a room on the ground floor with a terrace and sea view. It was quite beautiful and we enjoyed having breakfast and dinner outside, watching the sea. The apartment is about 10 minutes on foot from the city center and the beach, most everything in Krk is within walking distance. It is in a quiet neighboorhood, excellent for relaxing. The room wasn't very big, but it was clean, comfortable with good air conditioning and a bathroom. The host is very kind and helpful and even gave us some homegrown tomatoes, which were very delicious.

The "kitchen" of the apartment, if you can call it that, was actually the antechamber for one of the larger rooms. This wouldn't have been an issue, but people were coming and going all the time with suitcases and such, making cooking or eating anything inside very annoying. Not that it was possible to cook anything per se, there was no stove, no electric cooker, there wasn't even a water kettle. We specifically decided not to bring a portable stove and water kettle with us, because the apartment was advertised as having a communal kitchen. There was a microwave and a fridge only, which made "cooking" very awkward. Putting in a small electric stove or water kettle would cost almost nothing, but would be extremely helpful for people. Also, there is no hairdryer in the bathroom, which is just plain annoying. I have never been to an apartment without a hairdryer before. I did not bring one, because it is just such a basic item, but apparently not here.
