Casas do Ramalhete

We departed 1 week early. The beds are comfortable. The little kitchen is functional. The person who cleans is very nice and helpful.

The apartment needs updating. The furniture is old, and the only things in the kitchen are salt and pepper. You need to purchase your own toilet paper. The bedroom has musty-smelling closets that you can smell at night while trying to sleep. The apartment below us was being worked on with loud equipment during the day.

Comfortable beds and spotlessly clean. Good location, walking in from the town and the beach. Excellent communication from the hosts and really clear and easy directions to find the property, even in the dark.

We liked the walk out to the patio , Nice and quiet location.

Very spacious and comfortable apartment in a lovely setting . Pool and gardens ideal and bbq was a big bonus . Every convenience ... Kitchen is well equipped. Dishwasher , washing machine. Very good location

The location, pool and view from one of the windows was lovely. Staff appear pleasant and respond quickly in general I never met anyone in person but they seemed nice 👍 the apartment was clean and comfortable. The children loved the pool and the other guests were nice. It was a quiet area which we liked and it felt secure. The kitchen was well stocked and the air conditioning was great.

The balcony was tiny and strange in shape and there was no dining area outside to fit a family of 5, this was disappointing as is always my favourite part of any holiday and it says there is a dining area on the balcony. We ate inside every time and this was, no different to home. There was other outdoor dining areas and I was disappointed we weren't staying in a different apartment. Parking, is very limited first come first served. Safety- chunks appeared to be falling off the outside of the building I contacted the host immediately about this. Building works going on around the property and a view from main window in kitchen and side of balcony, noisy and an eyesore. I would have appreciated advance warning as this was our first holiday as a family of 5 and it was expensive for what we received. I also thought the washing machine was in the apartment but it is shared and was full with their washing regularly. Generally a nice spot but I would expect these things to be more transparent on the description. Not sure it's suitable for very small children because of stairs and balconies.
