Filioli Apartment

The host was very helpful with recommendations and always in contact with us, checking if everything was ok. The apartment is right in the middle of the old city and you get to experience an authentic Barese location and live among the local people. It is very close to all main touristic objectives and you can explore old and new Bari by foot. It is close to the main shopping streets and you can walk to the railway station (15-20 minutes walk). The apartment was clean, the bed was comfortable. The kitchen is conveniently equipped, there was plenty of coffee for the coffee machine.

The bathroom is a bit small and we had a couple of rainy and colder days, so there was a certain degree of humidity, especially in the bathroom. But there were extra blankets and heating options (a/c and an electric heater). Staying right in the middle of the old town where the apartments are very close to each other and the streets are quite narrow means you don’t always get quiet time. You can hear the church bells sometimes quite early and sometimes also the people in the street in front the apartment. It adds to the local charm, but might be disturbing for some people.

This is a very nice typical Bari apartment. It doesn't have windows, and when you go out of the apartment you are exact on the street, but this is our 6th journey to Bari, so it is very typical for this region and this was what we were looking for, so we liked this a lot. When you stay at this apartment you can really feel the mood of the locals and the city. We definitely recommend this place. Thank you very much Salvatore for all your advises.
