Die Lage in der Nähe des Bahnhofs der Rhätischen Bahn war der Grund für die Wahl der Wohnung. Die Wohnung war sauber.

Die Ausstattung war abgenutzt, insbesondere das Etagenbett in einem der Schlafzimmer war nicht vertrauenserweckend und schwankte bei jeder Bewegung. Die Handtücher im Bad waren ein buntes Sammelsurium, das schon bessere Zeiten gesehen hat. Vor den Fenstern der Wohnung tobte ab dem frühen Morgen der Schnee- und Eisräumungsdienst von Chur.
