Apartment is very nice and clean, and at the best possible location. It has all you need for a longer visit. The owner Giuseppe was very kind and open to help with everything. For us, excellent experience in Bari, one of the places we rented, and it's definitely worth the money.

There is not a single thing to criticise, perfect place.

Absolutamente tudo perfeito, o dono foi super receptivo, nos indicaram vários lugares para ir na cidade, as camas super confortáveis, banheiro ótimo e sem contar que tinha tudo de necessário, desde comida, shampoo e coisas de lavar roupa. Beautiful and cozy apt in an amazing location. It was perfect for our stay and really allowed us to enjoy historic Bari. It was everything we were looking for. Our host was fantastic and helped make our stay smooth and enjoyable.

Old Bari was within walking distance.

One hour before arriving, we received a message when we had to leave, written in capital letters. Upon chatting, this means shouting, yelling or any other form of imperativeness. After we raised a question about the message, we were told that it was valid for people with two and more day stay, and for people like us, they will not make the effort to remove it. Moreover, we were promised that it would be sent a door access code that we never received. Instead, the owner's son arrived who treated us disrespectfully and even asked us for money for a tourist tax before check-in. All this behavior from the owners created tension and a feeling of intrusion in us. If we had not paid for our stay there, we certainly would not have stayed. We felt unwelcome in this home. --- Answer to the owner's comment: Either your English is not good, or your son is not telling you the truth. We have never asked to make picture of the house! We asked to make a picture of the board with restaurant business cards which your son showed outside the apartment. We were planning to go to one of the recommended locations on the board, until check-in time arrives. But, your son refused!? We also did not understand why. Moreover, we left our luggage at 12:20PM, given check-in was at 2:00PM, after you agreed about it. For us, tourists, 100 minutes is not a lot of time as you state. If we knew what would have happened, we would have taken a luggage locker as we did post-check-out. We made a check out at 9:50AM with deadline 10AM. So, I don't understand about what late check-out you are talking about? Or are you again mistaking us with somebody else? The idea of the Booking ratings' is to receive constructive feedback regardless if you like it or not...

De ligging van de accommodatie was echt perfect. Alles is in de buurt te vinden.

Beautiful quaint apartment in the heart of Bari Vecchia, perfect location to explore the old Town. The host, Giuseppe, was excellent, our stay was Memorable for all the right reasons, would book again

This was one of the best stays we’ve ever had! The apartment is even better than the photos. It is spotlessly clean, comfortable and conveniently located close to everything in both the old own and new area. The Basilica, Castle and Cathedral are all less than a 10-minute walk. The train station is about a 15-minute walk, making it convenient for day trips to towns like Monopoli and Polignano a Mare. Both of which are about a 30-minute train ride away, costing ~3€ each way. The entry is keyless but there is also a key if you prefer. Very helpful! The apartment has two air conditioners which work perfectly, the unit was always comfortable. There were snacks and drinks to welcome us and useful advice on restaurants, sites and transport. The facilities are complete with a small hob, toaster oven, and coffeemaker, so you can cook there if you choose (but great restaurants are only steps away!). There is a washing machine and drying rack. Many basic supplies are provided to get you started such as condiments, water, laundry soap, etc. We stayed for twelve days and the apartment was cleaned and the sheets and towels changed halfway through our stay. Wifi was strong, fast and dependable. The host Giuseppe was amazing and dedicated to ensuring our stay was comfortable!! He picked us up at the train station and gave us an overview of the city on the way to the apartment. He settled us in and made sure we knew how to access the apartment, use everything in the unit, and had all the information we needed before he left. He checked in with us periodically during our stay to see if we needed anything. Whenever we had any questions, he responded immediately via WhatsApp. His thoughtfulness made this one of the most memorable trips we have ever taken. I have never had such an incredible host before!! I cannot recommend this host and apartment highly enough!! Bonus! We were there for the San Nicolas festival and twice the processions went right by the front door!
