So Fine - Apulian Flats

Excellent location, spacious, separate lounge room

Cooking facilities inadequate. No oven or microwave, only an induction stove that would not recognise the brand new saucepans provided. No manual supplied, and Ikea manual found on line was no help Host offered to come and show how to work it, several hours later, but we had given up and gone out for dinner Kettle gave steam scald when trying to turn it off. Apartments should provide user manuals for appliances

Overall the apartment was in good shape, but the smell seeping nonstop from the bathroom was intolerable, and made us sick. The bedding was mediocre and the shower hand missing.

It was a beautiful clean large unit with outstanding hosts! They welcomed us warmly and were available instantly for each question and recommendation. It was beyond expectation!

The location was great

1) The bathroom was leaking. This was supposed to be a newly furnished modernised apartment. What they had done was to just add a head shower into the bathtub which made all the water leak onto the floor all the time. Old bathroom with little changes being called newly furbished. 2) we had been travelling to many apartments in the region of Puglia. There was always a possibility to stay another hour or two and sometimes times till noon if the apartment was not booked. In this case, there was not as we were told that the apartment was booked, however looking into the sites(booking and other) it was available.

I loved the location. It was an easy walk (c15 minutes) to the train station, the old town and perhaps 20 mins along to Pane e Pomodoro beach. Went in for a swim and the water was warm! Super food on the beach too. It's a sandy beach, further along is Torre Quetta beach also lovely but pebbles. Lots of great cafes, restaurants and shops on your doorstep. The apartment was also extremely quiet considering you are in the middle of a city! Mimmo was a gracious host and nothing was a problem. We also visited Ostuni (train) which was beautiful.

3rd visit to Bari and as before, it was perfect!
