Lovely, self-contained apartment in a quiet, residential area of Como. There is a small terrace outside, perfect for enjoying breakfast when it’s not quite as hot as when we were there! Just round the corner from a supermarket and (in the other direction) Como Borghi train station, from which it is a five minute journey to the lake. Cristiano, the host, is charming and helpful. A perfect stay!

Nothing I didn’t like about the property. San Giovanni train station looks closer than it is, at any rate when wheeling a full suitcase in the middle of the day in August. When returning at the end of our stay we got an Uber.

The size was good. Close to the lake Como very walkable.

The space was good but the smell in the apartment smelled like mould. The bathroom seemed to have had a previous leak and therefore, the smell may have been from there. however, the apartment tower is old, locals live here and the apartment inside is just ok. The location is good as it’s about a 25 minute walk to the centre of Como.

Very clean and well supplied for all your needs. Even the umbrella available. Just perfect. The host very friendly and always avaiable.

Excellent location! Cristiano is a very kind person, and is always ready to help!

Our host was very helpful and pleasant. He met us and was instantly accessible by text. The property is clean and well equipped. It is private and quiet. It is close to a supermarket and an excellent pastry shop!

The decor is dated and in need of refreshment. The shower was either too cold or too hot and very cramped. The apartment is darker than the photos suggest. Don’t be put off by the dingy entrance from the street!

Bathroom was clean and comfortable

Instructions regarding finding the apartment was not professional. For example, there was no number on the door, owner sent us the wrong video to find the door. The price was not good value for money.

Super friendly and helpful owner, reacted really quick to all my questions! The apartment looks very nice, has airconditioning and you can reach everything on foot!

Location was great. Quiet. Short walk into town. A supermarket was next door and very good coffee bar across the street from the supermarket. The owner was friendly and made check-in and out easy.

Basic equipped and a bit dark - with only one window in the apartment. Which was located in the bedroom. Since the weather was nice we could have the door open to the outdoor patio area.

Cristiano is an excellent host, communication was great and he was very helpful with suggestions on breakfast and dinner locations as well as public transport. The air-conditioning worked like a charm, huge bonus if you intend to travel in the middle of summer ;-). You can easily reach the centre by public transport or 20 minutes on foot. I highly recommend staying there.

All in one: the apartment was clean, check-in was easy and Cristiano were a friendly host.

Unfortunately we have to say, that we were very disappointed and surprised what’s the apartment about. It didn’t look as bright and new like on the photos via booking. It seemd already very used and a lot of things should be fixed. For example the corners around the shower or the fittings in the shower. There’s also a lot of yellow and black mold in the shower. Also the towel hook in the wall next to the shower is almost about to fall out. The sheets of the bed had holes and the wall next to the bed was dirty. In the description at booking it was written: balcony and a terrace with city-view, which is simply misleading. We wouldn’t book it again.
