Apartment was beautiful, just like the photos, very clean, well maintained, large and welcoming. Excellent location to explore Faro.

The parking was a little tricky as the town was busy, but not too much hassle.

Felt like a real home. Comfy beds. No loud bars outside. Responsive owner. Equipped kitchen

Shower water could have been hotter

after the New Year. We overslept the checkout and didn’t have time to clean up after ourselves. the owner arrived. threw us out of the room. took our things and demanded 100 euros. when I was throwing it out, I pushed my wife and she received a head injury. Moreover, it was his wife’s birthday that day, which the owner knew about. when his friends paid him 100 euros, I came for things, he did not return the curling iron, his wife’s bag with a cosmetic bag, a hat, a phone charger and many other things. We really don't recommend this character

Spacious, good light, good location

Second bedroom wasn’t fully closed off from the lounge so lack of privacy could be a problem for some but was fine for us.

Location was great, roomy apartment. Quiet unit. 3rd floor walk up, no problem, good exercise. Available parking in the area. In the best part of town.

The free parking was located somewhat far from the unit, and in the opposite direction of most of the restaurants. Paid parking was allowed from 9 o’clock in the morning until 6 PM or 7 PM I can’t remember. It was fairly cheap. Only cost about three euros, and there were spaces available in the neighborhood. We parked in the neighborhood and were out by 9 o’clock in the morning.  The owner made a surprise visit to the unit at about 9 PM one night with no text message to warn us. We were quite nervous that we were being invaded but fortunately it was just him. He needed to change the propane for the hot water system. There is a sign in the kitchen telling you to wash all of your dishes and to “Take the Garbage.” Apparently you have to remove the garbage from the unit? I did that as requested and had a hard time finding someplace to dispose of the garbage. Also, knowing that the prior tenants are responsible for washing the dishes, I would wash any dish or glass or silverware before using it.

The location is perfect - a street away from the very centre, and also quiet.

Everything was perfect.
