The only negative I can say is that the television did not work (the cable probably needs to be replaced), and the shower heads can use an updating but they function properly. Location, value for the price, and feeling of safety in the building were all excellent.

Comfortable large accommodations. Well located and close to central train station.

The appartment was very quiet & very convenient to the train station & bus station. It is located about a 15 minute walk from the Oldtown. The appartment was very quiet!!

We had to call for assistance on arrival at 11.30pm to get the door of the appartment open. A lovely lady named Doborah came shortly and we got another key. The shutters on both balcony doors could be fixed but apart from that all was good!!

The location is good, very near the train and bus station, very near a lovely park and a tourist information kiosk, though we never managed to find this open. There is a fabulous Indian restaurant (Namaste on Via Garruba) very close by, and a modern restaurant with lovely freshly made juices and vegetarian food (Frulez, at the bottom of Piazza Umberto I, also close by). The kitchen was fine and the main bedroom is fine, except for having to share the ensuite - or at least the only shower - with whoever else is in the house. It’s also only a 20-minute walk to the old city, and it’s practically a straight line though I wasn’t able to walk it and had to get a [number 12] bus.

The door to the apartment. The key safe outside the door was no problem but we had great difficulty opening the door itself. After messaging the WhatsApp number we’d been given, a young man arrived. He couldn't get it to open at first either, and he spoke to someone on his phone saying it was 'bloceato' (that's what it sounded like). He did open it but there was no apology, and we continued to find opening the door difficult, though the person on the WhatsApp said that if we got stuck outside again just to contact them, which did make us feel better. Second bedroom. There was neither pillow nor bed linen on the bed in the low-ceilinged bedroom upstairs, and none in the wardrobe in the main bedroom. More WhatsApp messages: we were asked if we had requested ‘separate beds at the moment of reservation … because if you don’t ask at the moment of the reservation it has an extra cost’ [of €13 we discovered]. Eventually I found a message I’d written when checking in (two or three days before we arrived), on a link [GuestApp] sent by the company, saying ‘my sister is going to use the upstairs bedroom … and I am going to use the downstairs bedroom as I cannot walk up lots of stairs …’ I think it’s also on this link that it says ‘All the requests concerning the arrangement of beds are free until the day before your arrival. Further requests after the check-in will imply an extra fee.’ Because of all this I presumed that the company would have known that we intended to use two beds but it took a lot of messaging and my sending screenshots of what I’d written and where and when, etc etc before they said, after checking with supervisor, ‘ OK don’t pay’. The bed linen – and the tea towel we’d requested – were on the sofa when we returned that evening.

Very comfy beds. Air conditioning worked well. Beds changed half way through and clean towels too was good. Wi Fi very good.

Little things did not work properly - light switches, balcony door difficult to shut, shower weak, toilet had to be checked that it had stopped flushing. unreachable and not smart tv and nowhere for shared viewing for 4 people. No information on local area. Not even for food store or restaurant for first night. Did not find washing machine until day 3. It was out on balcony in cupboard and no instruction or sign that it was there. Not enough toilet paper and old sponge for washing up and no washing up liquid.
