APARTAMENTS DEL SOLE

Lokalita perfektní, přímo v historickém centru. Chtěli jsme bydlet v centru a zároveň poznat místní kulturu, jak žijí místní obyvatelé a to se nám zde splnilo. Apartmán prostorný i pro 2 dospělé a 2 děti. Ubytování přístupné přímo z ulice, vhodné i pro rodiče s dětmi v kočárku nebo starší osoby.

Některé vybavení bylo již poměrně opotřebované (olupující se židle, gauč, rukojeti u kuchyňských skříněk). Matrace proležené. Špatně odtékal odpad ve sprchovém koutě i umyvadle. Vedle dveří v zákrytce od elektřiny hnízdili mravenci, vylézali vždy až večer, přes den nebylo poznat. Pokoj byl navoněný, aby překryl zápach. Ale nic z toho nebylo závažné v takové míře, aby nám to kazilo dovolenou.

This place is big, comfortable, extremely clean, with beautiful traditional architecture. The landlady was very polite and helpful. The location is excellent. The street is very calm, but as soon as you walk just around the corner, you are in the center of the lively old city.

Everything was great. The apartment is comfortable, clean, in an excellent location. There is no window, but due to the size of the apartment and the good artificial lighting, this drawback is negligible.

Great apartment. Lots of space. Excellent location for walking around Bari. Host met us within minutes of us contacting her to handover the keys. Apartment is well equipped and clean.

Fantastic location. Easy walk from Centrale Station the vibrant historic district.

No laundry facilities, no sound proofing at the entry door.

The location is central, right in the middle of the old town ( you literally step out into a narrow cobbled street and you are there, lovely) clean, restaurants and bars are within close vicinity, Pane e Pomodoro beach is a 30 minute walk from the property, air conditioning. Sole , the host, was nice to let us leave the bags till 5pm on the day we checked out, as our flight was at 10pm ( check out is early enough, 10am. The airport bus, number 16, from the central station was only €1, the shuttle bus from the airport €5 per person.

No windows in the apartment , although there are two small ones in the front door covered with nets. No proper sound insulation between the bedroom and the sitting room, the wall separating them doesn’t go right up to the top. So, this apartment is suitable for a couple or a few friends, not sure about two couples or a couple with teenage children ( we stayed there with our teenage son). Could be a bit too noisy late in the evening and you’ll hear the church bells in the morning and people walking back and forth. If you don’t mind - it’s a lovely spot.

Great location. Easy access to old city and restaurants/bars. Smooth check in/check out. Most facilities made available.
