Reillys @ Rohan’s Farm

Good location. Very clean. Very Comfortable beds.

Recent trip to Midleton to meet with my sisters. Some pointers to note re Reillys farm. Difficult and quite dangerous to find the house on a very dak and busy road. Could do with some lit signage. Three cars arriving all had the same difficulty. Key safe is also a challenge to negotiate in the dark as when using a torch the reflection makes it hard to see. The accommodation is very clean and the beds comfortable. Probably not the best for a cosy night in as, although the couch was comfortable the chairs are definately not. Also note there is no TV which I probably should have checked but didn't think that was necessary as I would have assumed that was a standard requirement. As would a corkscrew. Our checkout was delayed due to us waiting for the hot water to reheat in the kitchen to wash the breakfast dishes only to recieve an abrupt email telling us to vacate as the cleaner had arrived. All in all it wasn't the usual cèad mìle fàilte that we usually enjoy on our travels. My sister continued her journey to her next stop in Kildare where she was greeted with a warm smile and homemade scones, a beautiful Christmas tree  super comfortable chairs, and, guess what, a tv and even a corkscrew. All for 150 euros cheaper than Reillys farm for a two night stay. All in all, reillys farm is adequate but the vibe is, pay your money, get in, get out, next please

Great place to stay

This was a self-serve place. Breakfast was not included but a cute little kitchen was! The host was helpful and informative! The setting was lovely as was the overall experience.

Great apartment with two large bedrooms - fantastic for mother and daughter travelling together. I did initially have trouble locking the front door (not familiar with that door locking system - but another apartment guest showed me how it worked. Light and bright, great kitchen and dining. Plenty of room for our stay with parking right by the unit. Would have loved to have seen animals in the neighbouring farming area - just a suggestion. So close to Cork. We travelled easily to FOTA Wildlife Park as well as Blarney Castle and Cork itself.

Location was great for our trip. Very comfy beds and spacious bedrooms. Secure parking. Good access to main roads. Everything you’d need for a short stay. Host was delightful and very good with communications re directions to property, local info and check-in etc.

Not a problem for us, but lack of a TV might be relevant to other guests. A small microwave would be a useful addition.
